Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in New Jersey is seeking a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations, oversee banquet events, and uphold the brand’s high standards for food quality and presentation.

You will manage F&B programs, coordinate with events and operations teams, and ensure strict adherence to health and safety requirements, including ServSafe guidelines, while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume entertainment, hospitality or restaurant venues.
• Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events.
• Current ServSafe certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the F&B menu and purchasing programs.
• Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor and supplies; review monthly P&L statements.
• Plan, supervise and execute banquet functions with operations and sales staff; supervise prep and service of food.
• Estimate food consumption and schedule staff for shifts.
• Ensure product quality, freshness and presentation meet company standards; supervise portioning and storage.
• Assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and DOH sanitation audits.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report issues promptly.
