Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Somerville, MA is seeking a Sous Chef to lead food operations in a high- volume, entertainment-focused venue. You will supervise kitchen staff, ensure adherence to menus and purchasing programs, and contribute to banquet execution with operations and sales teams.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of kitchen supervision, experience catering events, and a current ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

1–3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume entertainment or restaurant venues.
Experience catering events and presenting foods for special events desirable.
Current ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs.
Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations; review monthly profit & loss statements and adjust as needed.
Plan, supervise, and execute all banquet functions with Operations and Sales teams, including supervision of prep and service of food and refreshments and cleanup.
Estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly; schedule staff to match shifts in business volume.
Partner with KM/Chef or GM to address disciplinary issues and foster teamwork.
Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards; oversee prep, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food.
Assist in managing kitchen equipment maintenance and DOH compliance through sanitation audits.
Maintain a clean, safe environment at all times and report critical issues to GM.
