Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment in Warren Point, NJ is seeking a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations and oversee a high-volume Food & Beverage program. You will ensure quality, oversee banquet functions, and manage staff under the direction of the KM/Chef or General Manager.

Qualifications include 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in entertainment or hospitality, plus a current ServSafe certification. Perks include free bowling, arcade credits, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues.
• Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods is desirable.
• Current ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the company’s mandated F&B menu and purchasing programs.
• Maintain budgets for revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies; review monthly P&L and adjust as necessary.
• Plan, supervise, and execute all banquet functions with operations and sales staff, including supervision of preparation and service.
• Estimate food consumption and schedule purchases; staff efficiently to shifts in business volume.
• Address disciplinary issues with KM/Chef or General Manager; foster a teamwork environment.
• Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation; supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage.
• Assist Chef with equipment maintenance and sanitation audits in line with DOH regulations.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment at all times.
• Report critical issues to General Manager ASAP.
