Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef or strong culinary leadership experience.
• Experience in busy, full-service restaurant environments.
• Strong background in Asian, Asian-American, or similar globally inspired cuisine is an asset.
• Understanding of ordering, inventory, labour, and food cost.
• Passionate about food, quality, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef with day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and execution.
• Work stations and jump in during busy services.
• Manage prep, production, ordering, and inventory.
• Train and develop cooks while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Help maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy kitchen culture.
