Job Details:

  • Location: Nike, 3100 Frayser Boulevard, Memphis, TN 38128. Note: online applications only.

Job Summary:

Assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking foods, coordinate activities of kitchen staff, and assume responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and standards, meeting deadlines.
  • Supervise hourly food service staff including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  • Store food safely, following all sanitation procedures.
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, and temperature maintenance.
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment and workstations.
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisors.
  • Understand and explain menu items accurately.
  • Monitor inventory, deliveries, and waste.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
