  • Location: HF St. John Hospital, 22101 Moross Road, Detroit, MI 48236. Note: Online applications only.
  • Schedule: Full-time, with varying days and hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. More details during interview.
  • Requirements: Previous customer service and culinary experience.
  • Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Role Summary

Assist the Executive Chef in food preparation, coordinate kitchen staff, and oversee operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare food following recipes and standards, meet deadlines.
  2. Supervise food service staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
  3. Store food safely, maintain sanitation, and ensure proper food handling and presentation.
  4. Interact with customers to resolve complaints and explain menu items.
  5. Monitor inventory and supplies, report shortages.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
