Responsibilities include leading cooks, maintaining high food quality, developing menus, controlling costs, and ensuring safety. Competitive salary between 60k-70k with bonus potential and full benefits in a stable, team-focused kitchen.

Qualifications

Sous Chef Compensation & Benefits

Sous Chef Qualifications / Responsibilities

• Sous Chef or comparable culinary leadership experience
• Strong background in upscale, chef-driven, or fine-dining restaurants
• Strong scratch cooking, knife skills, and overall culinary technique
• Hands-on experience with proteins, sauces, stocks, vegetables, and composed dishes
• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Lead and develop cooks while maintaining a strong presence in the kitchen
• Support prep, production, service execution, ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
• Contribute to menu development, specials, and continued culinary improvement
• Strong food safety and sanitation practices
