Job summary

Major Food Group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to uphold top standards of cuisine and professionalism in our Boston operations. The role requires strong leadership, meticulous kitchen management, and a proactive approach to quality and service.

The successful candidate will oversee recipe development, training, and scheduling while maintaining equipment, cleanliness, and budgetary targets. Fluency in Spanish is a plus; culinary diploma or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managing capacity.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a quality-driven, high volume kitchen.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing, ordering, and receiving ingredients.
• Developing, teaching, and maintaining all recipes and techniques.
