Job summary

Flower Child in Austin, TX is seeking a Sous Chef to join our fast-paced, guest-focused team. This role requires proven experience managing high-volume restaurant operations, supervising shifts, and ensuring top-quality dining experiences.

You will lead a culinary and service team, collaborate with leadership, and uphold standards of cleanliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, people skills, and a passion for healthy, flavorful food.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years high-volume restaurant management experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of business operations and financials.
• Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling, and planning.
• Understand POS systems and OpenTable (or other digital/online reservation systems).
• Coach, lead and develop restaurant team.
