Job summary

Essentia Health in Virginia, MN is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasound scans for physician diagnosis using diagnostic ultrasound equipment.

The role is a 0.6 FTE with a day rotation and a possible remote/hybrid option. ARDMS certification within 1 year of hire and cross-credentialing in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAHEA accredited program in sonography.
• ARDMS registry eligible and licensure requirements.
• Must be ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire; vascular/abdomen/OB-GYN certifications within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis using ultrasound equipment.

In this role you will get too: Provide diagnostic ultrasound scans of patients for physician diagnosis, utilizing diagnostic ultrasound equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.

Education Qualifications

Education Requirements: Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Certification/Licensure Requirements: Registered by the ARDMS within 1 year of hire. East Market: Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. Those staff assigned to work in the Ashland location are not required to obtain Vascular certification. If working in Department 2010-2042320 MSK Ultrasound - SMDC HOSP, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
