Qualifications

• Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography Program.
• Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or NMTCB within two years.
• Graduation from an accredited program in sonography, registry eligible by ARDMS.
• Graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program or completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine.

Education Requirements

• Rad Tech – Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Radiography Program with the ability to be ARRT certified within 90 days of hire/transfer and have the MN Limited scope x-ray operator license or ARRT certification upon hire/transfer.
• CT Tech – Must be registered in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire/transfer to the position. If North Dakota, must have current license on the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire.
• Sonographer – Graduation from a Committee on Allied Health Education Acquired (CAHEA) accredited program in sonography and registry eligible by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Nuclear Med Tech – Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited nuclear medicine program OR completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Rad Tech – Upon earning ARRT certification must maintain certification. If North Dakota, must have current or temporary license on NDMIRT upon hire/transfer.
• CT Tech – Registered by the ARDMS within one year of hire. Must be certified in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular within 24 months of hire date. Staff assigned to Ashland location not required for Vascular certification.
• West Market and Brainerd Lakes Locations – Must be certified in one of the following areas within 12 months: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Breast or Nuchal Translucency.
• MSK Ultrasound – If assigned to Department 2010-2042320, must complete ARDMS MSK Certification within 24 months.
• Nuclear Med Tech – Current ARRT or NMTCB licensure.
