Qualifications

• Prior experience as a sommelier with broad knowledge of old-world and new-world wines.
• Strong hospitality mindset and guest-focused service.
• Ability to educate guests and upsell wine selections.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on-time according to the posted schedule (PM or AM shifts).
• Organize and maintain cellars and wine stations for service.
• Take wine and beverage orders, recommending options to guests.
• Present and pour wines by the glass or bottle to tables.
• Assist front-of-house with service and table flow.
• Lead wine discussions and participate in wine classes every two weeks.
• Communicate guest needs to managers and staff as they arise.
• Manage monthly wine inventory with colleagues.
