MML Hospitality is seeking a knowledgeable Sommelier to join our team in Austin. This role focuses on enhancing the guest experience through expert wine recommendations and high-level service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong wine education background, experience in high-volume or fine dining environments, and the ability to share knowledge with guests and team members. This position requires evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Sommelier or wine-focused hospitality role, preferably upscale or fine dining.
• Strong knowledge of Old World and New World wines, varietals, regions, producers, and food pairings.
• Wine certification through CMS, WSET, or comparable program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional wine service and personalized recommendations that complement the menu.
• Guide guests through the wine list and offer thoughtful pairings based on dining selections.
• Support the management and execution of the restaurant's wine and beverage program.
