Manhatta is seeking a Private Dining Sommelier to elevate wine experiences in private dining rooms and work closely with the Beverage Director to refine the wine program. You’ll guide guests with selections and collaborate with the service team to deliver memorable experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Sommelier or wine service role.
• Strong knowledge in wine, spirits, beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• English fluency; additional languages preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Continue to support a culture of Enlightened Hospitality.
• Partner with the Beverage Director and Events General Manager to create and maintain an enticing wine program that enhances the guest experience.
• Provide guests with guidance and suggestions of wine and beverage selections.
• Educate service team on wine, beer, spirits, cocktail and non‑alcoholic beverages to add value and growth.
• Deliver a financially responsible wine program that increases sales and maintains appropriate inventory.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a wide range of skills across service positions and continue to learn.
• Support with inventory, restock, and beverage service as needed.
