Job summary

Ludico in New York, NY is seeking a seasoned Sommelier to deliver knowledgeable wine service and guide guests through our curated wine list with expert pairings.

Reporting to the Head Sommelier, you will lead tableside service, support VIP events, and collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure exceptional hospitality consistent with our chef-driven European concept.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sommelier or advanced wine service experience in upscale or fine dining.
• Familiarity with Spanish, Italian, and French wines preferred.
• Wine certification such as CMS or WSET is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized wine recommendations and tableside service.
• Guide guests through wine selections, pairings, and tasting menu pairings.
• Present, open, and pour wine according to service standards.
• Support VIP guests and wine events; maintain visibility in dining room during service.
• Assist Head Sommelier with wine storage, cellar management, and stock rotation.
