The role includes front desk assistance and administrative duties to keep the clinic running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 3 years in a medical office, knowledge of medical terminology, transcription, and insurance, and experience with somatic/psychiatric service coordination.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in health and human services or related field preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in a medical office with similar duties.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, transcription, and insurance.
• Experience coordinating somatic and psychiatric services; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule client psychiatric and medical appointments.
• Link clients with external resources as needed.
• Maintain documentation in electronic prescription system.
• Liaise with pharmacy for refills and error correction.
• Coordinate laboratory appointments ordered by physicians.
• Schedule injections per doctor orders.
• Answer phone calls within one minute.
• Monitor waiting room and alert providers if delays.
• Triage clients, obtain vitals, and complete check‑in screenings.
• Organize and deliver medications to locations.
• Monitor medications as directed.
• Update client profiles and records via scanning and filing.
