Job summary

Burkert USA Corp is seeking a Technical Sales Support III – Solutions Sales Engineer to serve as the go-to expert for the U.S. product portfolio, supporting colleagues and customers with deep technical knowledge.

You will specify components for applications and ensure successful integration of Burkert solutions. The role requires 7+ years in customer service or inside sales in manufacturing, a technical engineering degree, proficiency in SAP, CAD, Windows, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer service or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient in SAP, CAD, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Must have a deep understanding of Process Flow and System Integrations.
• Up to 50% travel to trade shows, customers and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial technical resource for internal sales teams, distributors, and end users.
• Manage incoming technical support calls escalated from earlier support levels.
• Specify product fit for use and review new applications for proper equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering for customization and part number definition.
• Create assemblies by combining standard accessories with sensors or controllers.
• Provide post-sales technical support and deliver technical presentations.
