Netskope is a leader in cloud security and AI-era security. Netskope seeks a Solutions Engineering Manager (SEM) to lead the AMER Enterprise Solutions Engineering team, overseeing regional SEs and partnering with Enterprise Leaders to grow market share.

You will recruit, mentor, and drive technical and business leadership from the front, ensuring customer success and alignment across product and field teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership in solutions engineering.
• 5+ years as an individual contributor in Solutions Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills to executives.
• A reputation for ethics and integrity.
• Big thinker with impact, not mediocrity or status quo.
• Resilient and tenacious in fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to build and recruit high‑performing teams in software/systems.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and lead peak performance.
• Knowledge of security product trends and Netskope roadmap.
• Knowledge of security technologies (proxies, NG firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP, encryption gateways).
• Understanding of delivering comprehensive security solutions and competitive selling strategies.
• Travel: 50-75% within the region.
• Experience growing teams in early-stage startups with limited resources.
• Experience selling cloud-based technologies (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and on-board new Solutions Engineers into your territory.
• Provide technical and business leadership for the SE organization and lead by example.
• Train and mentor new Solutions Engineers and help define training curricula.
• Support field SE in complex evaluations, troubleshooting, and challenging environments.
• Assist Channel team to train Partner SEs for demos, POCs, and evaluations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers to solidify reference accounts.
• Manage performance and retain top talent.
• Conduct regular 1:1s for feedback and development.
• Work cross-functionally with support, customer success, product management, and engineering.
• Provide escalation support for pre-sales and post-sales issues.
• Drive customer success and resolve satisfaction issues with cross-functional escalation.
