Job summary

Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess and design logistics solutions that improve clients' business models. You will lead project work, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the deal cycle with strategic thinking and problem solving.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain management, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines. Some travel is expected as part of local and out-of-state engagements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if not.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or related fields.
• LEAN / Six Sigma certification or experience is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with internal operations teams in solution development stages.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Assess a prospect's current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand client's systems and objectives to propose the best solution.
• Document the future solution for presentations and other documents.
• Help create pricing strategies for service offerings.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms to close deals.
• Communicate effectively with prospects and clients via phone, web, or on site.
• Support transition from sales to implementation/account management teams.
• Document best practices to support continuous improvement.
