Transportation Insight, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer to assess, design, and support logistics solutions that enhance client business models. You will lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams to craft profitable solutions, with emphasis on strategic thinking and process improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain roles, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Local and out-of-state travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in business or related field; MBA preferred if Bachelor’s degree is not in business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain management or related fields.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio).
• LEAN / Six Sigma Certification or experience a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assess a validated prospects’ current supply chain program by documenting current state.
• Understand the client's systems/applications used in current state to propose the best solution.
• Document the future solution to help with presentations and other documentation.
• Help create pricing strategies for Transportation Insight service offerings that are competitive and attractive to prospective clients.
• Assist sales personnel in demonstrating technology platforms that lead to closure of new business.
• Effectively communicate with prospects and clients via phone, web and on-site as appropriate.
• Assess from continuous improvement standpoint the transition of clients to implementation/account management teams.
• Support ongoing improvement efforts by documenting best practices.
