Job summary

Okta is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Corporate/New Business) to act as the technical consultant during sales cycles. You will develop, position and demonstrate product-specific solutions, helping educate customers from developers to C-level executives on Okta's Identity Platform.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Solutions Engineers, you will deliver tailored demonstrations, plan PoCs, answer complex questions, and collaborate with engineering teams to address customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience in IAM.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML).
• Experience with lifecycle management, RBAC, provisioning/deprovisioning.

Responsibilities

• Work with Corporate/New Business sales as the technical expert to help customers understand value of Okta's solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and plan Proof Of Concepts for complex use cases.
• Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, partners and Okta colleagues.
• Provide feedback to product management on enhancements that address customer needs.
• Share best practices and reusable assets with the team to improve efficiency.
• Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
• Support marketing events including executive briefings and conferences.
• May lead the team as SME on product solutions and competitive knowledge.
