Job summary

CaptiveAire is seeking a driven engineer to join our sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new opportunities. The role includes applications engineering, sales support and field service, with extensive training and a mentorship program.

The position emphasizes a fast-paced, results-driven environment and offers exposure to market-leading ventilation solutions. Expect travel and hands-on product development in a dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or 4-year technical degree in mechanical/electrical/construction or science.
• 0-5 years experience.
• Willing to travel and engage with clients.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated application engineering and design support for ventilation projects.
• Work with Engineers, Contractors, End Users, and Food Service Dealers.
• Daily inside sales support, application engineering and outside sales.
• Performs site visits and on-site troubleshooting as needed.
• Train in Rochester for 6–12 months before territory ownership.
