Exa in London is hiring a Solutions Architect to lead the technical side of presales, from first call to technical win. You’ll partner with Account Executives to demonstrate Exa’s capabilities and prove the value of our AI-powered search platform.

You will run discovery sessions, design tailored demos, and run proofs of concept and workshops. You’ll work with Forward Deployed Engineers when deeper expertise is needed, and ensure a smooth handoff after close.

Competenze

• Several years of hands-on programming experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on presales or technical sales experience.
• Strong communication skills: you can explain complex technology to CTOs, engineers, and PMs.
• Track record of high performance in demanding environments.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and workshops.
• Thrives in early-stage environments where job scope evolves.

• Lead the technical side of new opportunities alongside Account Executives, from first call through technical win.
• Run discovery to understand prospect use case, architecture, data needs, and success criteria.
• Build and deliver tailored demos, sample apps, and prototypes for the prospect's problem.
• Design and run workshops and POCs with clear success criteria and timelines.
• Win technical evaluations by benchmarking and comparing options.
• Handle technical objections and answer security, compliance, and architecture questions.
• Bring in Forward Deployed Engineers for deeper expertise and ensure a clean handoff after close.
• Feed product with market signals from prospects and develop reusable pre-sales assets.
