Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions, driving platform adoption, and serving as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects.

You will design scalable, production-grade data and AI solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics, while coordinating cross-functional resources to deliver complex customer engagements and influence product direction.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior technical role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding ability.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.
• Drive technical wins by showcasing Databricks differentiation with custom solutions.
• Develop an emerging technical specialization and coordinate cross-functional resources.
