Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical strategy for assigned accounts, guiding architecture discussions and platform adoption. You will partner with customer leads across data engineering, ML/AI, and analytics to design scalable, production-grade solutions on cloud platforms, traveling up to 30%.

You are a seasoned technologist with strong coding, cloud experience, and a passion for shaping how customers leverage data and AI at scale.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or equivalent senior technical role.
Proficient in Python and SQL with live-coding and debugging skills.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, pipelines and lakehouse patterns.
Proficient with the Databricks Platform and ability to develop a technical specialization.
Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and whiteboarding.
Experience deploying to public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with governance.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts, from discovery to deployment.
Lead complex architecture discussions for scalable, production-grade solutions.
Advise customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors as a trusted advisor.
Drive technical wins with custom-built solutions and differentiated approaches.
Orchestrate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Influence product direction by providing structured feedback on customer needs.
