Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, owning architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence product direction by feeding back customer requirements. This role requires deep technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

6+ years in solutions architecture or related roles.
Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture with scalable pipelines and cloud-native platforms.
Proficient on the Databricks Platform with a developing specialization in one area.
Experience leading architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and conducting design reviews.
Experience with production deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP including security and governance considerations.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment and growth.
Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real-time analytics.
Serve as trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and Directors.
Drive technical wins by demonstrating Databricks differentiation through custom-built solutions.
Develop and declare an emerging technical specialization to be a go-to resource.
Coordinate cross-functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex needs.
Influence product direction by providing feedback on customer requirements and gaps.
