Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical strategy for customers, own architecture discussions, drive platform adoption, and serve as a trusted advisor to customer technical leads and architects.

You will design scalable, production‑grade solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, and real‑time analytics while building a domain archetype and coordinating cross‑functional teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre‑sales, or senior hands‑on technical role.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL with live coding, debugging, and solution building skills.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture and cloud‑native data platforms.
• Proficient on the Databricks Platform with developing technical specialization in one area.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end technical strategy for accounts from discovery through deployment and growth.
• Lead complex architecture discussions spanning data engineering, ML/AI, and real‑time analytics.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects and engineering leads.
• Drive technical wins by showcasing Databricks differentiation through custom solutions.
• Develop an emerging technical archetype and become a go‑to resource for the team.
• Coordinate cross‑functional resources to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Influence product direction with feedback on customer requirements and competitive gaps.
