Job summary

Blooio, an AI-native messaging and commerce platform, seeks a solutions engineer to move brands from signed to live on Apple Messages for Business. You will lead technical discovery, design solutions, and build integrations with POS, ordering, CRM, tickets, payments, and identity systems.

You will configure and evaluate agents, own security reviews, and translate deployments into reusable connectors and runbooks. US remote considered; Bay Area/San Diego preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as solutions, forward-deployed, or integration engineer in messaging, contact-center, or AI.
• Production-level TypeScript or Python.
• Fluency with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth.
• Experience shipping LLM-based agents to real users.
• Ability to brief a CIO in the morning and a restaurant general manager in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution design for deployments on Apple Messages for Business.

Job description

Blooio is an AI-native messaging and commerce platform. Brands use Blooio to meet their customers inside Messages on iPhone & Android, with AI agents that answer questions, book appointments, take orders, and accept Apple Pay. We are a small, profitable, venture-backed team based in San Diego. We work in person or hybrid in San Diego and the Bay Area, with remote considered for the right person, and field roles in San Francisco and New York.

Your Role:

You will take brands from signed to live on Apple Messages for Business, with agents connected to the customer's real systems. You will lead technical discovery and solution design, build integrations with point-of-sale, ordering, booking, CRM, ticketing, payment, and identity systems, configure and evaluate agents in our platform, own the technical side of enterprise security reviews, and turn each deployment into reusable connectors, runbooks, and templates.

Qualifications:

You bring: five or more years as a solutions engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or integration engineer at a messaging, contact-center, or AI company; production-level TypeScript or Python; fluency with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth; experience shipping LLM-based agents or conversational flows to real users and evaluating them beyond a demo; and the range to brief a CIO in the morning and a restaurant general manager in the afternoon.

Bay Area, Southern California preferred; US remote considered. 170K–200K base plus variable and equity.
