Job summary

Databricks seeks a Solutions Architect on the Digital Natives team to shape the big data landscape by partnering with premier data teams worldwide. You will guide customers through architectures, prove concepts, and advise on best practices using our platform and APIs.

You will collaborate with sales, product, and customer teams to deploy scalable data engineering, data science, and ML workflows, while developing technical champions and promoting Databricks open-source projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or pre-sales/consulting.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with public clouds: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to provide technical leadership for Databricks solutions.
• Consult on big data architectures and run proof-of-concepts across data engineering, data science and ML workflows.
• Validate integrations with cloud services and third-party apps.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support customers and share expertise.
