Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect on the Digital Natives team to shape the big data landscape by working with leading data engineering and data science teams. You will guide customers through best practices, implement proofs of concept, and develop technical champions across the Databricks platform and APIs.

You will collaborate with customers, product teams, and field engineers to deliver architectures and solutions, with travel to customers as needed and remote-friendly options

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role
• Experience building distributed data systems
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka or ML frameworks such as pandas, scikit-learn, pytorch, TensorFlow

Responsabilités

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership on big data architectures
• Consult on data engineering, data science and ML workflows for strategic projects
• Validate integrations with cloud services and third‑party tools
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and contribute to open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow)
