Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Solutions Architect to shape the future of our big data landscape with leading data science and engineering teams. You will guide customers through architectures, prove concepts, and champion Databricks projects across the developer community.

You will partner with the sales team, validate cloud integrations, and collaborate with fellow architects to support users worldwide. Travel to customers in your region may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or pre-sales/consulting.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka or ML frameworks.
• Willingness to travel to customers in the region.
• Databricks Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership on Databricks solutions.
• Consult on big data architectures and run POCs across data engineering, data science, and ML workflows.
• Validate integrations with cloud services and 3rd party apps.
• Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support users.
• Promote Databricks open-source projects and recruit contributors.
