Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to shape the Data & AI landscape by collaborating with leading data engineering and data science teams for our Digital Natives Business customers, shaping architectures with our platform and APIs.

Reporting to the Field Engineering Manager, you will partner with customers, product teams, and the customer-facing group to drive technical discovery, design architectures, and implement proofs of concept across data engineering, data science, ML, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Have built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Nice to have: Databricks Certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to provide technical leadership and help customers understand Databricks value.
• Lead discovery and design architectures; implement proofs of concept across data engineering, data science and ML, and SQL workflows.
• Advise customers to drive business outcomes and align solutions with cloud services and third-party tools.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support customers and share knowledge.
• Promote Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across the developer community.
