Job summary

Schneider Electric USA Advisory Software and Digital Transformation team seeks a Solutions Architect to translate client business needs into technical requirements and architect end-to-end solutions.

You will collaborate with sales, proposals and delivery, crafting SOWs, RACI matrices, and cost structures while staying current on IIoT, Industry 4.0, and AI trends. Expect travel across the USA and some international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or work experience equivalent – with 15 years of experience. Preferably has spent time in the field maintaining assets, developing solutions and justified projects.
• Has spent time in Delivery executing projects which have implemented SE / AVEVA Software & Hardware solutions.
• Requires a strong command of the AVEVA Software Stack along with the SE EcoStruxure.
• Experience in working with diverse technology platforms – both hardware and software, from Embedded Edge devices to cloud based SaaS
• Familiarity with big data tools and analytics tools
• Ability to thrive in uncertainty, adapt to changes in the market and pivot as needed
• Strong relationship building & communication skills
• Tenacity, resilience, emotional intelligence
• Ability to work collaboratively within a sales team and the solution architect community

Responsibilities

• Convert business inputs into a requirements document from client RFI/RFQ.
• Provide cross segment solution architect capabilities as trusted advisor that brings together customer needs to architect solutions
• Provide technical depth across Schneider Electric and AVEVA offerings within the Customer’s IT/OT environment
• Apply an in-depth knowledge of customer processes, parameters to be optimized, and decision criteria to bring differentiated solutions
• Bring fresh industry and technology insights and innovative perspective to influence the operational and technical functions to build a pyramid of trust for the key decision makers with new customers
• Keep up to date on IIOT technologies, Industry 4.0, AI; share with the team
• Develop new customer relationships in emerging markets; lead multi-domain teams
• Create an SOW to be sent to Proposal & CQA team; produce a RACI and the costs using WBS for delivery
• The SA will be the Liason between sales, proposals and Delivery
• The SA will also review the solution with the client and do a demo if needed
