Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Power Consultant II to join our Advisory and Engineering Services Organization in the United States. You will work directly with customers and project teams to develop and deliver solutions aligned with end users’ goals.

You will lead projects, assess technical needs, and deliver within scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires extensive power/automation experience, PLC/HMI expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 10+ years of experience in power systems or automation
• Experience programming, startup/ commissioning and troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs and relays
• Experience modifying wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, one-lines and other standard electrical drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions using protective relays, PLC, and HMI systems
• Interpret and modify schematics, one-line, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot power system issues and implement corrective actions
• Lead and execute engineering work for PCA projects
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers
• Develop technical reports, documentation, and deliverables
• Mentor junior engineers
