AppleOne Employment Services in Dublin, CA seeks a detail-oriented CAD Engineer to update a large volume of SolidWorks drawings, incorporating manufacturing feedback and ensuring alignment between 3D models and 2D drawings.

You will collaborate with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, documentation-heavy environment, managing revisions through SolidWorks PDM/EPDM and aiming for 6–10 drawings per day while improving accuracy and traceability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CAD software experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with strong drawing environment.
• Experience updating and improving existing engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and PDM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Review and update existing SolidWorks drawings based on feedback from manufacturing, production, and engineering teams.
• Modify dimensions, tolerances, annotations, BOMs, and related drawing details to improve accuracy and usability.
• Ensure consistency between 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Execute a high volume of drawing revisions efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Manage drawing revisions through PDM workflows, including SolidWorks PDM or EPDM.
