You will collaborate with engineering and production teams in a fast-paced, documentation-heavy environment, managing revisions through SolidWorks PDM/EPDM and aiming for 6–10 drawings per day while improving accuracy and traceability.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of CAD software experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Dublin, CA. This role will support a high-priority engineering initiative focused on improving and updating a large volume of existing SolidWorks drawings based on manufacturing and production feedback.

This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD professional who enjoys precision, documentation accuracy, process improvement, and working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities

• Review and update existing SolidWorks drawings based on feedback from manufacturing, production, and engineering teams.
• Modify dimensions, tolerances, annotations, bills of materials, and related drawing details to improve accuracy and usability.
• Ensure consistency between 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Execute a high volume of drawing revisions efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Manage drawing revisions through PDM workflows, including SolidWorks PDM or EPDM.
• Support key performance targets, including 6 to 10 drawing revisions per day, reduced rework, monthly backlog reduction, and full compliance with PDM revision standards.

Compensation and Benefits

• Long-Term opportunity.
• Pay range: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour.
• Location: Dublin, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Update and revise existing SolidWorks engineering drawings based on manufacturing and production feedback.
• Maintain consistency between 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
• Manage high-volume drawing revision work using PDM workflows and revision control standards.
• Support drawing quality, rework reduction, and backlog reduction goals.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience using CAD software.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, with strong experience in the drawing environment.
• Experience updating and improving existing engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience with PDM systems.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer technology, or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume documentation environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks PDM or EPDM.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing, production, or engineering services environments.
• Strong ability to identify drawing inconsistencies and recommend practical documentation improvements.
