Job summary

Stage 3 Separation, LLC is seeking a Solids Control Technician to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain solids control equipment on drilling rigs. You will learn on-the-job, shadow experienced staff, and rotate through multiple rigs across the U.S.

The role demands long shifts, travel, and strict adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a 2-year technical degree preferred, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• 2-year associate’s degree or technical diploma preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background check, pre-employment drug test and fit-for-duty physical.
• Able to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Work 14 days on and 7 days off.
• 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule.
• Swing shift from 12:00PM–12:00AM or 12:00AM–12:00PM, with shadowing.
• Travel domestically to remote rig locations in the United States.
• Rig up and rig down equipment; operate solids control equipment (shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment, pumps).
• Move cuttings from pits to trailers using heavy machinery; maintain backyard cleanliness.
• Attend and participate in daily safety meetings; complete daily PJRA/JSA, inspection and observation reports.
• Wear PPE/FR and abide by safety protocols.
