Job summary

Stage 3 specializes in solids control equipment for mud systems, optimizing drilling operations with stage-wise training. The Solids Control Technician role focuses on operating shaker tanks, centrifuges, and pumps, performing fluid analysis, and supporting environmental services while rotating across multiple rigs.

You'll gain hands-on experience with Stage 3 equipment, work 12-hour shifts, and travel domestically to remote rig locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• 2-year Associate’s degree or technical diploma preferred.
• Forklift/Excavator/Wheel Loader experience or certifications preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and driving record.
• Reliable transportation to rigs.
• Background check incl. drug test and fitness to duty.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling and recycled fluids.
• Learn and operate a range of solids control equipment on rigs.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain backyard rig area.
• Complete PJRA/JSA, inspection and observation reports daily.
• Travel domestically to remote rig locations in the U.S.
• Move cuttings safely using heavy equipment under supervision.
