Job summary

Stage 3 specializes in high quality solids control equipment for mud systems. The Solids Control Technician role involves overseeing mechanical processes, learning equipment rig-up/down, and performing drilling fluid analyses on active rigs.

Expect 12-hour shifts, a 20-on/10-off rotation, and domestic travel to remote rig locations. You will participate in safety meetings, maintain logs and inspections, and gain certifications in PEC Safe Land, H2S, and CPR/First Aid while advancing your

Qualifications

• Team player who can work independently.
• Must be mechanically inclined with comprehension for electronics.
• Will learn to input routine data into company systems.
• Must be a problem solver and manage time efficiently.
• Able to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations and recycled drilling fluid.
• Learn to rig up/down equipment and operate solids control gear.
• Perform drilling fluid analysis and understand drilling fluid properties.
• Attend daily safety meetings and complete reports and checklists.
• Move cuttings and operate heavy machinery safely in rig yard environments.
