Job summary

Stage-3-Separation is seeking a Solids Control Technician to support drilling operations on-site. You will learn Stage 3 equipment, work 12-hour shifts on a 14 on/7 off rotation, and travel to remote rig locations across the United States.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on maintenance of shaker tanks, centrifuges, and other solids control gear. You will develop basic electrical and drilling fluid knowledge, input routine data, and earn certifications such as PEC Safe Land, H2S,

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with comprehension for electronics.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• 2-year Associate’s degree preferred in Technology, Electronics, or Mechanics.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have valid State driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations.
• Receive on-the-job training on Stage 3 equipment.
• Work 12-hour shifts, 14 days on/off with rotation.
• Travel domestically to remote rig locations.
• Rig up/down equipment and operate solids control gear.
• Maintain a clean and orderly rig backyard and attend safety meetings.
• Complete daily PJRA/JSA, inspection and observation reports.
