Job summary

Stage 3 is seeking a Solids Control Technician to support drilling operations on various rigs. The role includes hands-on learning of solids control equipment, safety training, and routine maintenance.

You will work a 20-on/10-off schedule, 12-hour shifts, and travel domestically to remote rig locations. Training will be provided, with certification opportunities in safety programs and equipment operation.

• Will operate heavy equipment daily and earn certifications.
• Certification training will be provided prior to working on a rig.

Responsibilities

• Work 20 days on and 10 days off on a rotational schedule.
• Perform 12-hour shifts, including overtime when required.
• Swing shifts from 12:00PM–12:00AM or 12:00AM–12:00PM with trainee shadowing.
• Travel domestically to remote rig locations in the United States.
• Rig up and rig down Stage 3 equipment as assigned.
• Learn to operate shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment, and pumps.
• Develop basic understanding of drilling processes and fluids.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work backyard and operate cleanup equipment.
• Attend daily safety meetings and complete required reports and checklists.
