Job summary

Stage 3 Separation is seeking a Solids Control Technician to oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations and recycled drilling fluid on rigs across the United States. You will receive on-the-job training and work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, with travel to remote rig locations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, plus a 2-year technical/associate degree preferred. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, able to read and write English, and willing to

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with comprehension for electronics.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
• Prior forklift, excavator, or wheel loader experience or certifications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations and recycled drilling fluid.
• Learn to rig up and rig down equipment on rigs.
• Operate solids control equipment including shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment and pumps.
• Attend daily safety meetings and complete reports such as PJRA/JSA and checklists.
