Job summary

Stage 3 Separation is seeking a Solids Control Technician to support enhanced drilling operations and recycled drilling fluids across multiple rigs in the United States. You will shadow senior staff, learn to rig up/down equipment, and perform solids control tasks in a dynamic, safety‑driven environment.

You will gain hands‑on training with shaker tanks, centrifuges, drying equipment, and pumps, while adhering to safety protocols and daily reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• 2-year degree or technical diploma preferred.
• Forklift/Excavator/Wheel Loader experience or certification preferred.
• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook) experience.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Background check, drug test and fit-for-duty required.
• Solid’s Control and oil/gas experience preferred.
• Experience with shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment, pumps.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour shifts on a 20 days on / 10 days off rotation.
• Travel domestically to remote rig locations in the U.S.
• Rig up/down equipment and operate solids control gear daily.
• Learn drilling fluid properties and solids control services.
• Attend daily safety meetings and maintain PPE compliance.
• Complete PJRA/JSA, inspection and observation reports.
• Operate heavy equipment safely and maintain a clean work area.
• Input routine data into company systems and portals.
• Maintain and advance through field-level certifications.
