Job summary

Stage 3 is seeking a Solids Control Technician to join our field operations supporting drilling rigs across the U.S. You will learn to operate shaker tanks, centrifuges, drying equipment, and pumps while gaining hands-on experience on closed-loop mud systems.

Under limited supervision, you will work 12‑hour shifts on a 20/10 rotation, travel domestically to remote rigs, complete safety and maintenance tasks, and advance through Field Level 1 after evaluations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-year associate or technical diploma in technology, electronics, or mechanics preferred.
• Forklift/Excavator/Wheel Loader experience or certifications preferred; training provided prior to rig work.
• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook) experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical processes for enhanced drilling operations.
• Learn to rig up and rig down Stage 3 equipment.
• Operate solids control equipment (shaker tanks, centrifuge, drying equipment, pumps).
• Attend daily safety meetings and complete required reports and checklists.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in the rig yard and assist with maintenance.
