Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Solid Rocket Propulsion Engineer to design, analyze, and support propulsion systems across the product lifecycle. The role requires deep expertise in propulsion disciplines and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and program teams.

The position reports to the Engineering Manager and is onsite or remote, with relocation assistance possible. You will lead technical work packages and mentor junior engineers as needed, balancing performance,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field with 4–15 years of propulsion/ aerospace experience.
  • Experience in design, analysis, testing, or production of solid rocket motors or propulsion hardware.
  • Familiarity with internal ballistics, combustion, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and structural analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and develop propulsion components and systems from concept to production.
  • Perform analyses of motor performance, internal ballistics, combustion, and thermal environments.
  • Support testing, data review, and root-cause investigations across the product lifecycle.
