Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Mojave, CA seeks a propulsion engineer to advance propulsion systems for sub-orbital VTVL vehicles. You will size components, perform trade studies, create solid models, and support testing across a small, collaborative propulsion team with a Pittsburgh counterpart.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2+ years in propulsion design, analysis, and testing, with familiarity in fluid/thermal modeling and SolidWorks. Relocation support is offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required.
• 2+ years propulsion design, analysis, manufacture, integration or test experience.
• Familiar with system-level fluid/thermal modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Support design and test of rocket propulsion systems.
• Size propulsion components (turbomachinery, valves, tanks, feed systems).
• Perform trade studies using propulsion models.
• Create 3D models for fabrication and analysis.
• Develop test plans and analyze results.
