Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Solid Rocket Propulsion Engineer to design, analyze, and support solid rocket motors and propulsion hardware across the product lifecycle. You’ll work with manufacturing, quality, test, systems, and suppliers to mature designs and resolve issues.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this onsite role is available in Reno, Folsom, Long Beach, Huntsville or remote, with relocation assistance for qualified candidates. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/related field with 4–15 years experience
• Experience in solid rocket motors or propulsion hardware
• Knowledge in propulsion disciplines: internal ballistics, combustion, thermodynamics, heat transfer, structural analysis, nozzle design
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly through documentation and reviews

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and develop solid rocket motor components through qualification and production
• Perform analyses related to motor performance, internal ballistics, combustion, thermal, structural integrity
• Develop requirements, drawings, specifications, test plans and reports
• Support propulsion development and qualification testing and data review
