Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Solid Rocket Propulsion Engineer to lead design, analysis, and production support across the propulsion system lifecycle. The role involves developing motor components from concept through qualification, performing internal ballistics analyses, and ensuring robust, safe designs.

You’ll collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to mature designs and support testing and iterations, with relocation options to multiple sites and remote work possible for

Qualifications

  • Experience in propulsion engineering disciplines such as internal ballistics, combustion, thermodynamics.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly through engineering documentation and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Experience solving complex technical problems with engineering analyses and data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and develop solid rocket motor components from concept to production.
  • Perform analyses related to motor performance, internal ballistics, combustion, and thermal environments.
  • Develop requirements, drawings, specifications, test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
  • Support propulsion development and qualification testing, including data review and root-cause investigations.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, test, systems, and suppliers to mature designs.
