Job summary

Geronimo Power, LLC is seeking a Solar Technician to support on-site operations, maintenance, and repairs at utility-scale solar plants. This role reports to the Plant Manager and collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, and third-party service providers.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of related experience or power-industry training, with solar facility operations experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience or power industry training.
• Experience in solar facility operations or related power plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment including HV equipment, combiner systems, inverters, pad mount transformers, control panels, MET stations, tracker systems.
• Read schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and replacement of parts per manufacturers' requirements for PV panels, inverter components, tracker components, and related equipment.
