Geronimo Power, LLC is seeking a Solar Technician I to perform on-site operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at the Grant Solar facility near Canistota, SD. The role supports safe and reliable plant operations and reports to the Area Manager, Field Operations.

The Technician I will routinely handle preventive and corrective maintenance, read schematics, and work with high-voltage equipment, trackers, and control panels.

Formación

• Minimum two years of related experience or equivalent power industry training.
• Experience in solar facility operations or other power generation preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate across all levels.
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, email, facility control and reporting systems, and diagnostic tools.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all EHS programs and procedures.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment including high-voltage parts and trackers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per manuals and manufacturer requirements.
• Read schematics and technical prints to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Repair or replace mechanical and electrical components including PV modules and inverters.
• Support quality assessments of work performed by contractors.
• Maintain CMMS maintenance records and work orders.
• Maintain site tooling, inventory, and spare parts.
• Assist Lead Solar Technician with warranty and loaned parts management.
• Assist with capital projects, retrofits, and vegetation management.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule, including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Travel occasionally to other plants for maintenance and training.
